An esoteric journey through space and time with a medium that signifies the inception of photography.

An innermost search for what is essential and a preparation for its symbolic transference to the present.

The most significant image of your imaginary past becomes the reference point for the creation of a “real image” the understanding of which is to be found in the present.

Using a camera obscura, a makeshift pinhole camera created out of a matchbox, a piece of film and some adhesive tape, the creator has one and only one chance to capture the image.

The aim is pure: immortalize the essence of the memory.

After the exposure, the reference point will hence never be the same again;

the creator will never be able to revisit the past in the same way as before.

The film will be developed and the image will be presented to the future, unaltered, as a scene of the past that is reborn every time someone gazes upon it.
